Topic: Adverbs
For our last official tutoring session, I went over adverbs with my tutee. We watched the Schoolhouse Rock video about adverbs and then I asked her questions after the video ended. After we discussed the video, I created some sentences that contained nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. I then had my tutee read each sentence and then asked her to pick out the noun, verb, adjective, and adverb in each sentence. She did an amazing job! It was sad that it was our last official tutoring session, but I am happy to say that we will be continuing our tutoring sessions twice a week for the rest of the summer! She is so quick and smart, I can't wait!
