Topic: The letter 'Y'
For this tutoring session, we went over the letter 'Y' again. This time we took a more in-depth approach and went over more nouns, verbs, and adjectives that started with the letter 'Y'. Then, my tutee gave me a show-and-tell of different stuffed animals and toys she has in her room. I asked her questions to try and get more than just one-word answers out of her, and I think it worked well. I asked her to describe the stuffed animals and toys while she showed them to me. Next session, we will be going over the letter 'Z'.
