Topic: Police brutality/Enslavement of Black people 5pm

Overview: Kubra had some heavy topics that she wanted to discuss. The recent police brutality events had her spirits low. She told me about her encounter with the police once in Tallahassee that was a bot unpleasant for her. She told me that she believed that all these things were wrong and that we cant run away from our problems but face them to hopefully change the world one day. Since her spirits were low we more so focused on speaking about race in America and she learned some new things involving the enslavement of Africans and how the whites stole them and broth them to many lands. She was disgusted to her stomach and said that she was never taught this in school in Turkey ad was upset at the education system.
