Topic: The letter 'W'
Today my tutee and I went over the letter 'W'. For the letter 'W' she decided to draw waves even though last session we talked about possibly drawing a wheel instead. After drawing and coloring the waves on the letter 'W' we did the usual activity of talking about nouns, verbs, and adjectives that start with 'W'. For nouns we went over 'Washington' and 'Warsaw' but I think she was confused by the fact that 'Washington' is both a city and a state. Finally, I had her act out the different verbs and pointed out again where the adjectives were in relation to the nouns in the sentences.
