As a response to the Coronavirus pandemic, Dojun and his company made a decision to reduce their pay and work time in order to ease the economic impact the pandemic has had on the company. For three of the weeks that I will meet with him, he will not work. However, the South Korean government provided him and his wife with a free class to learn about coffee. Today’s lesson revolved around his classes. We used coffee-specific new vocabulary to challenge his speaking abilities and grammar-in-use. We discussed idioms like “to eyeball” measure something.
