Today I observed Olivia James’ grammar class. She began by going over general housekeeping stuff as well as the agenda for the day. The lesson was the Present Perfect and she began with a worksheet. Students answered questions affirmatively, some negatively, and others were proposed as questions. After that, she went over group work from a previous class. Her main activity was the game “two truths and a lie” and this allowed for students to acquire the present perfect in a fun way.
