In this session, I had Hongru read an English translation of an old Japanese folktale, "The Tongue-Cut Sparrow. It was a story that Hongru was familiar with, and therefor helpful for comprehension. I was pleased to find that Hongru is even better at reading out loud than he was during the last session. The fluidity with which he reads, his ability to self correct, his pronunciation, and his intonation have all improved markedly.
