In this session, I taught Dave superlatives. It was a simple and smooth session for Dave to learn. After watching the video on the topic I gave him sentences that require a word to be changed into the superlative to complete the sentence. He was very engaged in this topic and actually used some of the words we learned today into conversational sentences.
From this session, my issue off what timeline to use when giving students their English curriculum. Do I teach grammar first or reading? Do I just give students a lot of vocabulary words and have them apply it? I try my best not to worry about it because there is a lot of factors in learning a new language, I will just teach what my host country wants for its students.
