Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: 

At the beginning of the session, I asked Rahim what has he done in his classes this week. Not only did I ask in order to know what he learned in his classes, but to help him recall what he learned and inform someone else. He told me that in his classes he was had to speak to his class about an article and lead a discussion on it. So, once he finished explaining I had him read more academic articles on medicine. I wanted him to read for fluency, pronunciation, and exposure to medical vocabulary.  I asked him questions on the article and ask to give his opinion on why the article was written this way.
