Lesson(s) on teaching you learned:

In this class observation, Dr. Polluck went over the conditional clauses. He started the class by going over what he taught the previous day, the adjective clause reduction. He gave a list of sentences and had students go through each sentence to reduce it according to the grammar rules. He gave students about 3 minutes to complete the assessment. He then went over the answers with the students by calling on each of them. He did not correct the student if they answered wrong until they did not know the actual answer to the question, giving them time to think. He also never let the students mispronounced and asked them to say it again correctly.

Once he was done going over the beginning lesson, he then went into the topic of the conditional phrases. He gave an explanation of what the conditional phrases are defined and gave examples. He played a game with the students based on this topic to allow students to be more familiar with using these sentences. He then assessed them by putting the students into breakrooms and havig them comlpete a worksheet together on the topic. Dr. Polluck then went over the worksheet with his students. He then engaged in class talk with them on the topic of marriage at the end of class.
