Topic/Skill: TOEFL Integrated Writing Practice on the American voting system

Feedback provided: Halima spends a little too much time at the beginning of her writing samples. By the end, her writing becomes unstructured and a bit confusing. I told her that she needs to make more time to elaborate on her second body paragraphs. I also recommended to make a more descriptive introduction. Overall, I graded it a 3/5

Lessons I learned: It is important to choose topics that help the tutee understand American culture as well.
