Topic/Skill: TOEFL Integrated Writing Practice

Feedback provided: Halima and I did another hour of an Integrated Writing practice set after we did an hour of Integrated Speaking. The topic was about the effects of ecological certifications on wood. This topic was a bit difficult for her to understand and I don't think she had a clear grasp on what the lecture was talking about. After correcting her minor mistakes, I advised her to take notes of the main points of the lecture and to take time to connect them to points made in the reading

Lessons I learned: Students excel in different areas of language learning. In Halima's case, she seems to be a better reader than a listener. It is important to identify these weaker spots so that we can give them more attention.
