Adrian Green - CPM#6

  Yesterday I had another meeting with my Brazilian conversation partner. I had some technical difficulties at the start but, as it turned out, our conversation became a very engaging one. We spoke about natural disasters and how they are very different in different parts of the world. I learned that Brazil is almost devoid of natural disasters which was somewhat surprising to me.

We also talked rather extensively about religion in both our countries and throughout the world. I found myself often forgetting that I was there to help my CP learn English and so I think I may have spoken a little faster than I would have otherwise but perhaps this was for the best as this conversation partner is nearly fluent in English and can handle rapid speech as well as many low frequency words.
