Adrian Green - CPM #4

Today I had my 4th conversation partner meeting, this time with my conversation partner from China. The talk began as usual with us discussing our lives and recent events. About half way through however we began talking about different movies and books we each had enjoyed in the past. This brought the conversation to a much more lively place and, although it was minor, my conversation partner definitely seemed to be talking with more ease than before. I believe this all contributed to an improved session as previous sessions, when the conversation was more formal, seemed to make my conversation partner nervous, thus restricting his ability to speak freely.

All in all I thought this was a very successful meeting and I think we are getting to be better friends as time progresses.
